All prices are our service fee per document. State or federal filing fees and return shipping are additional, because they are set by the government office and the carrier. We tell you the exact total before you pay or mail anything.
Standard — $99
For any document issued by a US state, with no hard deadline. We review your document, prepare the submission, and get it to the issuing Secretary of State within two business days of receiving it. The state then processes it in its normal queue. Total time depends on the state, and ranges from about a week to several weeks.
Covers birth, marriage, and death certificates; divorce decrees; diplomas and transcripts; powers of attorney; court documents; corporate documents; and any properly notarized document.
Rush — $199
Same document types. We prioritize it on our end and use the state's expedited channel where one exists. Our processing is 5 to 7 business days. Good for deadlines two to three weeks out. More on rush and expedited.
Expedited — $299
Our fastest tier. Work begins the business day your documents arrive, and we hand-deliver or overnight to the state office where that is possible. Our processing is 1 to 3 business days. Best for visa appointments, job start dates, and court deadlines. The state's own processing time is still added, and we tell you what it currently is before you commit.
FBI and federal documents — $149
FBI Identity History Summaries, IRS letters, USPTO records, Social Security letters, and anything else issued by a federal agency. These do not go to a state. They go to the US Department of State Office of Authentications in Washington, DC, which publishes its current mail-in processing time on travel.state.gov. That figure moves with volume, so we tell you what it is on the day you order rather than printing a number here. Federal apostille details.
Embassy legalization — from $399
For countries that are not in the Hague Apostille Convention: the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Cambodia, Thailand (until its membership takes effect on 28 February 2027), and others. Instead of one apostille, the document needs a chain: state authentication, then US Department of State, then the destination country's embassy or consulate. Each step has its own fee and timeline. Three-document bundle — $549
Three documents from the same state, processed together and returned in one shipment. Common for adoption dossiers, immigration packets, and business formation sets. Ask us about larger sets; we price those individually.
Translation plus apostille — from $299
Some countries require a certified translation of the document, the apostille, or both. We bundle a certified translation with the apostille so you are not coordinating two vendors. Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, and most other languages. Price depends on length and language.
What is not on this page
Two things, and we are upfront about both.
- Government filing fees. Set by each state or by the US Department of State. Most states charge $5 to $25 per document; the federal fee is $20. Passed through at cost.
- Return shipping. You choose the speed. Tracked USPS Priority is the least expensive option; overnight courier is available.
Both appear as their own lines on your quote, and the quote is the number you pay. No processing fees, no handling fees, no surprises at pickup.

Why do you charge less than most apostille services?
We are a small Kansas operation with low overhead and no sales team. We publish prices because we would rather you compare us than call five companies to find out what anyone charges.
What are the state fees?
Each Secretary of State sets its own fee. Most states charge between $5 and $25 per document, and a few charge more for their own expedited handling. Federal authentications through the US Department of State are $20 per document (22 CFR 22.1, item 46). We pass these through at cost and show them as a separate line on your quote.
What does return shipping cost?
It depends on how fast you want it back and where. Tracked USPS Priority is the least expensive. FedEx or UPS overnight is available for deadlines. International return shipping is available. Your quote lists the option you pick as its own line.
Is there a fee if my document is rejected?
If we review your document and it cannot be apostilled as-is, we tell you before submitting and you owe nothing for the review. If a state rejects a document after submission for a reason we could not have seen, we resubmit once at no additional service fee; state fees may apply again.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. After you approve the quote we send a secure payment link. We do not ask for card details by phone or email.
